LungLink Clinical Navigators monitor and manage patients that have chronic lung disease by using a combination of Bluetooth-enabled lung function and oxygen monitoring, as well monthly virtual care and education sessions in order to execute JAX Family Practice protocols and care bundles \u2013 ensuring patients have access to thorough, unrushed evidence-based care for COPD and Asthma.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded as a novel technological solution to the serious clinical challenges pulmonologists, providers, and physicians face managing chronic lung disease, LungLink was developed by respiratory therapists in the Mayo Clinic Business Accelerator in Rochester, Minnesota.  The service supports practices by managing chronic lung disease using a combination of Bluetooth-connected lung function and oxygen monitoring along with monthly virtual care visits from licensed Respiratory Therapists. This approach keeps patients engaged and enables informed protocolized care decisions to be made between routine appointments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
